Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech around 8:00 am, followed by a scenic drive through the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, passing terraced fields, river valleys, and traditional Berber villages with opportunities to stop for photos along the way. Upon arrival at the picturesque Imlil village, nestled at the base of Mount Toubkal, you’ll take a short guided hike along scenic trails, passing streams, orchards, and small villages, while enjoying breathtaking mountain views.
During the hike, you may visit a local Berber house, experience traditional hospitality, and savor a cup of Moroccan mint tea while learning about the mountain lifestyle. After exploring the village and its surroundings, you’ll have free time to wander through Imlil, shop for handmade crafts, or simply relax and take in the stunning landscapes. Lunch is served in a local mountain restaurant, offering traditional Moroccan dishes such as tagines or couscous, before departing in the afternoon for the return drive to Marrakech, where you will arrive around 5:30 to 6:00 pm, concluding a day filled with natural beauty, culture, and authentic Berber experiences.
