2 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Zagora

Depart from Marrakech in the morning and travel through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, stop for panoramic photos and admire Berber villages clinging to the hillsides. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular filming location for movies and TV series. Continue to Ouarzazate, where you can see the Taourirt Kasbah from the outside. The journey then leads through the dramatic Draa Valley, lined with lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Arrive in Zagora in the afternoon, where camels await to take you on a trek into the desert for sunset. Enjoy dinner and an evening of Berber music at your desert camp before spending the night in a traditional tent under the stars.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert, then have breakfast at the camp. Ride your camel back to Zagora and begin the return journey to Marrakech. Retrace your path through the Draa Valley and stop in Ouarzazate for optional visits or lunch.
