5 days tour from Marrakech to desert

Depart Marrakech in the morning and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop for panoramic views and small Berber villages along the way. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah for a guided tour before continuing to Ouarzazate. Pass through the Skoura Oasis and Valley of Roses, arriving in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight in a traditional hotel or riad.

After breakfast, explore the rock formations of Dades Valley before continuing to Todra Gorge for a walk between its towering cliffs. Travel through Erfoud and Rissani to reach Merzouga. Camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset and enjoy dinner, music, and a night under the stars in your desert camp.

Wake early for sunrise over the dunes, then return to camp for breakfast. Spend the day exploring the desert: visit Khamlia village for Gnawa music, meet nomadic families, explore seasonal lakes (when water is present), and visit fossil-rich areas. Overnight in a comfortable Merzouga guesthouse with dinner included.

Leave Merzouga after breakfast and drive through Alnif and Tazzarine, stopping to admire desert plateaus and oasis towns. Enter the Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight in a riad or hotel.

After breakfast, visit Taourirt Kasbah or Atlas Film Studios (optional) before crossing the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech. Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your 5 days desert adventure.
