6 days Marrakech desert tour

Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you’ll be met by your driver and transferred to your traditional riad in the heart of the medina. Take the rest of the day to relax, enjoy the atmosphere of the old city, and prepare for the days ahead. Overnight in Marrakech.

After breakfast, meet your official local guide for a full-day tour of Marrakech’s most iconic sites. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the vibrant souks of the medina. Wander through the colorful Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where storytellers, musicians, and food stalls create a lively atmosphere. Return to your riad in the evening for a relaxing night.

Depart Marrakech in the morning, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop for panoramic views and traditional Berber villages along the way. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, then continue to Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Desert.” Drive through Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses before arriving in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight in a local riad or hotel.

After breakfast, explore the Dades Valley before heading to Todra Gorge, where 300-meter cliffs tower above a crystal-clear river. Continue through Erfoud and Rissani to reach Merzouga. Your camel caravan will take you into the Erg Chebbi dunes for a magical sunset. Enjoy dinner, live Berber music, and a night in a desert camp under the stars.

Wake early for sunrise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga for breakfast. Drive through Alnif and the beautiful Draa Valley, stopping in oasis towns and ancient kasbahs. Arrive in Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, visit Taourirt Kasbah or Atlas Film Studios (optional) before crossing the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech. Drop-off at your accommodation or airport, marking the end of your 6-day adventure.
